1). Raven is not kind.
2). Raven is made of clay. Literally.
3). He is a creature of whim and necessity, and ten to one odds you will never know which is which. Sometimes even he forgets.
4). There are many things he does not remember.
5). There is a reason for this.
6). He is never not hungry.
7). He is entirely inhuman. This is one thing he does not fake, in the bar.
8). Like all children, when his mother died he wished he knew her better. He knows, however, that this was impossible.
9). Some days he wonders why he bothers.
10). So far (with one notable exception) he has always managed to remember. |
