As per backroom post, comment with your character's name (past, present, or uh, future?) and I will tell you:

1) how [insert pup of your choice here]'s opinion of the named character has changed over time, or
2) why [insert pup of your choice here] does or does not get along/like/other with the named pup.

Your choices are *drumroll*

Raven (this LJ, HI!)
Galadan [livejournal.com profile] wolflord_andain
Dean Winchester [livejournal.com profile] hopeitsworthit
X-23 [livejournal.com profile] cutting_edgex23

You can also choose:
Door [livejournal.com profile] iopenthings
Nynaeve al'Meara [livejournal.com profile] not_only_wisdom
Jordan Black [livejournal.com profile] second_sighted
Aslan [livejournal.com profile] treading_dawn (though why you would want to, I am not sure)
Destiny [livejournal.com profile] book_bound (though there are not many this is applicable to, hi!)
Asyr Sei'lar [livejournal.com profile] bothan_rebel (again, few pups may be applicable here!)

And Xas [livejournal.com profile] shall_go_free

Ahahaha. :D

I love these sorts of things, and so even though they haven't threaded in a million years, I request Raven's thoughts on yaoi Havelock!

Joe!

Dean!

See how it feels, huh? HUH? :D

Joe--started off cautious with Lilly.

And then she learned that Lilly is a madam, and given her experiences on the streets of New York, she, uh--freaked out.

But then she learned that whores in Milliways are different, and pimps are, too. They don't hit each other, and there are no drugs.

So she is still a little--distant?--but Lilly is okay. And she is useful when it comes to blending in.

[personal profile] hopeitsworthit 2008-02-26 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
Dean started out UBER-pissy at Lilly, not least because they met when Sam'd already been smashed by a couple dead blondes, including his girlfriend.

But he felt bad about it later, and bought her a drink.

Drinking actually seems to be their chief activity at this point, as it is a way to hang out and not have to talk.

She's the first person he told about his Dad, which I found--appropriate and kind of sad. He does think of her as a friend, at this point, and a useful resource that he will trust Sam to, at least in certain respects.

That is a big thing.

Lilly should be proud.

Will and X and Dean since I think they've talked the most of all of yours.
cutting_edgex23: (Default)

[personal profile] cutting_edgex23 2008-02-26 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
X--started off wary of Will, as she started off wary with everybody. It's habit.

She is okay with him now because he is with Kate, and she is curious to see how that works. Also I think he is somewhat around her age/the age of her teammates, and she is keen on observing him to see what people are like. Because she has not a clue.

I think, if they threaded more, she'd come to like him. She will probably always be a little confused by him, though.

[personal profile] hopeitsworthit 2008-02-26 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
I think Dean likes Will, despite initial wariness and distrust, as Dean is . . . prone to that.

I cannot quite remember if they recognized the Will Scarlett name, but that's pretty cool right there.

I feel they should talk more!

There is little to nothing the wayward middle child can do to surprise the Eldest--Book or no.

Destiny can read the writing on the wall.

Were he entirely capable of pity, there would be some of that--as his efforts at creation have always proved futile, and may continue to do so until the Book closes at last.
vivien: picture of me drunk and giggling (Curious Ingress)

[personal profile] vivien 2008-02-26 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm... *considers*

Okay, Ingress' opinion of Raven really hasn't changed much, aside from the fact that she thinks he's pretty much able to do anything. She also thinks he's a hero since he helped her find Mr. Julia.

Tom thinks Raven is just an odd fellow. He's pretty wary of him, because of the god thing, but so far, so good.

Tom still doesn't care for Dean Winchester. :-P He probably never will. Meddling Muggle...

I'd love to know how Door's feelings might or might not have changed in respect to Ingress after all this time as her main guardian.
iopenthings: (Default)

[personal profile] iopenthings 2008-02-26 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
Door gets less irritated by Ingress--outwardly if not always inwardly. There's a different level of cruelty and frustration allowed for sisters than for parents, and while in the guardian role Door is often more of a parent-type.

I think the rest of it, the love, the worry, the pride, is still the same.

So.

cutting_edgex23: (Default)

[personal profile] cutting_edgex23 2008-02-26 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
X started off very wary of Stitch. But she was--as relieved as she could be when she realized that they were very much alike. Dealing with normal people is stressful, and awkward, and takes every bit of her concentration, a lot of the time.

Dealing with Stitch, who on top of being a weapon is also an alien and not human-normal--is freeing.

And he explains things.

She likes him now, and would do anything in her power to protect or help him.

So.

[personal profile] cutting_edgex23 2008-02-26 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
X and Prometheus. Hmm.

Well, she started out wary of him, and that wariness has never quite left.

He seems to want to make her laugh, and she doesn't understand why. It's not that he makes her feel stupid, because he doesn't--but he really highlights the difference between her and normal people, and she--

She wants to get past that. She just has no idea how.

[personal profile] wolflord_andain 2008-02-27 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
This may make you scream, but Mary reminds Galadan very much of himself as a child, with her temper, and her logic, and her insistence that the world should make sense. She also exhibits a sort of innocence, an inherent desire to trust people (or did), that he never had, and indeed would never want.

In the Before-Time, he made use of this trait, using her natural loquaciousness and her need to prove herself against her, and tricking her into telling him information about Milliways patrons with remarkable ease.

Then he got redeeminated, and felt kind of bad about that. So he told her. It--

In its way she is one of his touchstones against his desires to go back to the way things were, to fall into patterns that he knows very well only lead to the Dark Side, as it were. *snerks*

And given he sees so much of himself in here, he is also watching out for her, because he's fairly aware that she probably doesn't want to become anything like him. So.

Destiny is very aware of when and where and how each of his siblings will (or has) taken an interest in Captain Reynolds.

He is also aware that War has taken a great deal of interest in him. This may be part of a grander design, but he won't say anything.

It's already written.

[personal profile] cutting_edgex23 2008-02-27 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
X likes Marian a lot, and trusts her more than she trusts most people in-bar. A lot of this stems from the fact that X remembers meeting Marian from the time she was about 10--so technically present-day X has known her for six years. There's a lot of comfortableness that can grow in that time, particularly with X, who is more prone to be communicative with people she knows well.

She doesn't understand Marian very well, but X would do just about anything she needed. All she'd have to do is ask, and sometimes not even that. There are times Marian pushes too hard, but almost everyone does that, and Marian is quicker than most to stop when X shows she is uncomfortable. X appreciates that.

Galadan--I can't say that he likes Mary Anne (yet), but he respects her point of view, and appreciates it, as well. They are alike in certain ways--particularly related to violence and putting an end to threads--that he doesn't have with very many people. I think if they talked more she might eventually move into place as one of the people he actually gives a damn about.

[personal profile] cutting_edgex23 2008-02-27 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
X likes Duo, even as she worries about him A LOT. It's the carefree persona--she cannot do that herself, so she worries very often that it's going to lead him to do something stupid and get hurt. She cannot quite be blamed for this, as in some ways he is a lot like her cousin Megan, and Megan almost got hurt an awful lot in Target X. Also a lot of her X-men compatriots are similarly young and loud-mouthed, and she has to take care of them.

I think she unconsciously adopts a lot of that when it comes to Duo. He should make her play poker again!

Raven likes Raguel. He is also fairly sure that he's fucked, because he is unwilling or unable to grab free will and run with it. It does not help that Raven hates gods. And God. He is a very bad creator, in Raven's opinion.

But he is glad Raguel has hooked up with Coyote, and he does try his best to teach Raguel things that will be important later on. Even if some of them will never stick.

Jordan--likes Raguel a lot. He makes her feel safe, but she's not sure if he makes her feel safe from the Bad Man. It's hard for her to feel safe from him now. At all. Ever. He followed her home. But she might. Because Raguel is an angel.

Xas--felt a great affection for Raguel, and wouldn't have been averse to becoming more intimate acquaintances. He never pushed, though, because he kind of enjoyed the game of it more than consummation, as. Well. Sex is not his favorite thing ever, in general. He'll miss Raguel now that he will not come to Milliways again.

Nynaeve started out thinking Raguel was a moron, and has never revised her opinion. As every time she sees him he's done something stupid and gotten himself hurt. So.

And X. Hmm. X actually comes as close as she's ever been to feeling pity for Raguel. He is like her, but he does not seem to want to learn how to be anything else. She understands that, for the most part. But he does not seem okay with his choice. So.

X considers Joris a very useful person, particularly for his help in equipping her to better deal with at least a few denizens (or potential denizens) of the bar that are rather more supernatural than purely physical.

It's been bothering her, a bit.

She also thinks he's someone that could be trained to be very very skilled (by her standards, not by those of normal people) even if she's also edging toward glad that he wasn't, for his sake. Even if she'd never phrase it that way.

I think she could easily come to like him, and she'd definitely help him out with demon-troubles, if he had them.

She'd also like to meet Konstam. Because he seems sensible.
